Entering it’s 12th year, NASCAR’s Drive for Diversity Pit Crew Development Program seeks to recruit the highest quality of applicants from the most diverse backgrounds and develop them into successful drivers and pit crew members. In 2015, more than 25 D4D graduates pitted for national series teams and Mike Russell became the first African-American to win a national series championship.
