Wrightsville Beach resident Jim Mincher says his home withstood Hurricane Bertha's 100 mph winds in July, 1996 so, when Hurricane Fran arrived in Sept. 1996 with 115 mph winds, he decided to stay and protect his home. He also filmed the flooding that occurred.
