NC is first state in country to offer Microsoft IT Academy in every high school in the state. It allows students to test for Microsoft Certification in several programs, a world-recognized job skill. One student at Green Hope won the 2010 Excel World Championship Bronze medal. State leaders hope to expand the program in the future and have certified nearly 100,000 students
